Thandeka is a seasoned professional with a BCom Finance Honors degree from the University of KwaZulu Natal and holds diplomas in Taxation and Project Management. She is a Professional Member of CIMA and has completed various executive development programs, including a GIBS JP Morgan Enterprise Development Certificate and Facilities Management and Property development programs at the University of Witswatersrand and University of Cape Town, respectively.
Passionate about environmental sustainability, Thandeka is a recipient of the JP Morgan & GIBS Enterprise and Management Development Program scholarship focused on the Green Economy. She is a Founding Member of Women in the Green Economy for a Sustainable Africa (WIGESA), advocating for women’s participation in sectors such as renewables, waste management, agriculture, wind, and solar.

Biography

With over a decade of corporate experience in Accounting, Compliance, and Governance, Thandeka has worked across diverse industries and entities. She began her career with Impilo PPP Consortium on a landmark commissioning project at Inkosi Albert Luthuli Hospital, followed by roles as Financial Manager at a BioTech Innovation hub and executive positions at The Sharks Medical Company, Bay Union Financial Services, and Chep SA.

Thandeka is also an Executive Director of Thasola Consulting, where she plays a pivotal role in finance and compliance matters. She is deeply involved in youth development initiatives as a founding member of INK Foundation NPC.
